The Biking Vikings Return for Pudsey’s Revenge

The anticipation was high last October as the Biking Vikings geared up for their 30th ride in support of BBC Children in Need. However, unforeseen circumstances dashed their plans. But fear not, for they are back, ready to conquer the trails on the weekend of May 18th and 19th!

With the promise of clear skies and temperatures soaring to 25°C (weather forecast courtesy of Foston Pete), rider numbers have swelled. Even fair-weather cyclists have joined the fray, eager to tackle the challenge ahead.

This journey is no easy feat. Day one spans over 55 miles from Pudsey to Worksop, navigating the Trans Pennine trail with its moderate “inclines”. Day two promises another 45 miles, taking us through the picturesque Clumber Park before we return to Allington for our eagerly anticipated Viking Stew.

This marks our 30th ride, and we’re aiming to surpass £100,000 in total sponsorship. We’re incredibly grateful to all who’ve supported us thus far.

If you’d like to join the cause or contribute, reach out to one of our riders or visit our JustGiving page using the button below.

Fuelled by camaraderie and the spirit of giving we’re planning to make this ride one to remember.
