Community Review

A community review is a comprehensive document that should develop over time to reflect the views of a community as a whole. It should contain an action plan to identify and prioritise projects to help the community achieve its vision.

In Allington our first attempt at such a document was published in 2013. Although mostly referred to as the village plan it was actually a community led plan.

The second review took place from July to December 2018. It covered a variety of topics based on a range of consultation techniques that were devised to engage with all residents. The local working group was complemented by support from Community Lincs who analysed the data collected and prepared the final document.

Neither document is perfect. Nonetheless they provide a snapshot of community thinking at the time of their publication. You can read them using the links below.
